]]> ]]> The New Jersey Visual and Performing Arts Education Survey (NJVPAE), a statewide mandatory survey of arts education in all 2408 public schools involving 1.4 million students, is set to launch April 3rd. This is the most intensive and comprehensive look at arts education ever undertaking in the history of the United States and is part of the New Jersey Arts Education Census project being directed by the Music for All Foundation.  (Full Story)]]> ]]> In his State of the State address, California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger will proposed  $100 million to create a new Art and Music initiative to support standards-aligned art and music instruction in kindergarten and grades one through eight as part of the 2006-2007 state budget.
